Spokane Wedding Photography at Roberts Mansion – Anissa and Michael
It rained nearly all day last Saturday, but Anissa wasn’t concerned…”I like the rain. We are getting married outside, rain or shine!” She said Michael had let her know it was raining in Hawaii, their honeymoon destination, and she was very excited to hear it. Ultimately however, the rain did stop before their wedding; giving way to some beautiful light as well as cooler temperatures.
When I met with Anissa and Michael to discuss their wedding plans, I mentioned that I usually do not photograph the wedding invitation because a copy isn’t available the day of the wedding. Anissa had remembered this detail, and she had one waiting for me when I arrived, and it was a beautiful aspect of their day to document! Anissa had found the perfect spot to hang her wedding dress for photographs, as well. And when her matron of honor agreed to hold a pillow for me to use as a reflector on the dress, no one blinked an eye. It was simply a matter of mutual trust. When my couples such as Anissa and Michael remember tips I’ve shared with them, and listen to my ideas and prompting throughout the day (and I listen to their ideas and suggestions as well), it creates the perfect “storm” (pun intended) for beautiful wedding images, to be shared for generations to come.
Please enjoy some of my favorite captures from Anissa and Michael’s wedding day…always my honor.
